DC Stars Excited to Move Back to Their Home Ice

After two years away, the DC Stars are looking forward to going back home. During the reconstruction of the Fort Dupont Ice Arena, the team played its "home" games at Cabin John Ice Area in Rockville, MD.

"While we are thankful to Cabin John for accommodating us, Fort Dupont is the right place for us to be. We are a DC based team and are happy to be back at home in the District." says DC Stars board member Heath Cox.

The new ice arena is set to open in the summer of 2025. It will feature an NHL-sized ice sheet, expanded locker facilities, and other community rooms.
