While the Stars lost 8-3 to Sherwood on opening night, that score doesn’t tell the full story of the game. Following an early goal by Sherwood, Harry Fishman cashed in to tie the game on a rebound. The Stars managed to keep things close due to some great goaltending, trailing only 4-2 at second intermission. The offense also showed some sparks with Gabe Ingram scoring not one, but two goals. The Stars are breaking in a lot of young new talent and showed some promise. They hope to bounce back in their following game on Wednesday, 10/1, when they square up against Walter Johnson.
